Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress is known for her performances as Doctor. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama "Providence" and Dr. Lane Hunter in the The Resident, a medical drama. The actress is most well-known as the character of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama 'CSI: NY" as her role as Dr. Lane Hunter at the medical drama 'The Resident.' The actress also won praise for her first television role as Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap production 'Guiding light'. Her most notable movies include "15 minutes", "Percy Jackson And The Olympians The Lightning Thief" as well as "Snitch".
